Bruce Lee was essential in providing Jesse Glover with the guidance and tools that developed into Non-Classical Gung Fu. When Bruce and Jesse first met, Bruce was still primarily working with Wing Chun and other forms of traditional arts. However, after meeting Jesse, other friends and eventual students, Bruce began to modify his ideas to counter larger, stronger and unpredictable opponents. After Bruce moved to California, Jesse continued to hone and revise the ideas he leaned from Bruce. In particular, he utilized, with modifications, the Wing Chun principles of closing, chain punching and chi sao.
Bruce Lee went on to develop his own form of martial art called Jeet Kune Do. The rest…is history.
