Bruce Lee was essential in providing Jesse Glover with the foundation that became Non-Classical Gung Fu. When Bruce and Jesse first met, Bruce was still primarily working with Wing Chun and other forms of traditional arts. However, after meeting Jesse and several others, Bruce began to modify his ideas to counter larger, stronger and unpredictable opponents. Once Bruce moved to California, Jesse continued to hone and revise the ideas he learned from Bruce. In particular, he utilized (with modifications), the Wing Chun principles of closing, chain punching and chi sao.
Bruce Lee went on to develop his own form of martial art called Jeet Kune Do. The rest…is history.
